Thanks to Mara and Harris publishing we have had a nice mention in their fine magazine.

The latest issue of Water Gardens magazine, from Harris Publications, features photos of beautiful ponds owned by two of our very own from the American Ponders forum. Want to read all about it? Next week (mid-February 2007), the magazine goes on sale at newsstands across the country (try Barnes & Noble, Borders, grocery stores, or anywhere magazines are sold). This magazine only comes out once a year, so you can't order a subscription. But if you can't find it sold at your local newsstand, call the Harris Publications back issues department at 212-807-7100, extension 536, to order one by mail.

I hope Safeway down in Omak gets it in cuz thats the only place with in 125 miles that sells any magz. I would be more than willing to pay for it and postage if someone can send me one? :'( :'(

Hi Marla, I was sad to see that go. I have 2 years of it saved. Again in big O ring notebooks. But I just got my first The Water Gardener. It's only 4 per year for 15.00. I like it. It's not real thick but good stuff in it. www.watergardenermag.com I found it threw a search I was doing? Has a good artical on Nelsons Water Gardens. I also got a small blip printed I submitted under pond poll! Does that make me famous???

Joyce got her story printed too! About naming a water Lilly Pink Ribbon Beauty in recognition of the fight against breast cancer. She's famious too!!

On pages 32 and 33 I have been to this water garden before. They have been on our pond tour several times that we have in July. It is a beautiful yard.

My "books a million" bookstore has/had several copies. I have already read mine several times. I stopped and picked up a copy for one member and sent it out to her ( she is going to reimburse me the cost and postage) because she was having difficulty finding it. Good stuff! Has everyone managed to get one? Andy

Found a copy at the PharmPlus drug store in my smallish Ontario town. Better than some of the water gardening magazines I've picked up. Glad it wasn't the very first one I read though because it could have left me thinking digging a pond required big bucks and a professional builder. Thought that the tiny little picture of Joyce's pondsai didn't do it justice, couldn't see the exquisite detail and "just right" plantings. Think the magazine editors short-changed themselves with that decision. emm
