As you know, we don't talk politics here.
« on: September 08, 2012, 08:28:50 AM »
A lady friend of my wife's sent me some stuff I  do not agree with. I relplied with stuff Ido believe.
She was adamant!
I replied that she presumed I felt as she did. She should not have presumed.
She responded with " I always knew how you felt. It matters not to me"
 Now that's an attitude!

I am amazed how some people can vote for someone and not see he is not the right one for America.

I have no problem with one having different views.   I do have a problem with those who object to the views of others. No I am not talking about way radiclal views.
2vetts, what alternatives? I spent a year or more seeking them.  Many were pure nonsense. All sought to part you with your money. A Lamenectomy is considered then"gold standard."
I still don.t know if I did the right thing  ,It was a major decision. Only time will tell.
I was told by the therapist and Drs. That it takes 5 to 6weeks for bone to heal and swelling to subside. Then then I may make a quantum leap!

My wife has been diagnosed with Parkinson's. This out of the blue. I would NEVER have opted for surgery if I had known. NEVER !
The nasty mails that inspired my post were even more hurtful under the circumstances.
I will overcome!
I also see that Parkinson's does not affect life expectancy.  Quality of life, of course.
She is adjusting to the meds and doing well.
