My Husband cleaned out one of my smaller ponds Friday while it was 80*. It was smaller 5 x 8ft pond. What a job the water primrose and water lilies had over grown so bad he could hardly pull them out of the pond. The hardy water lilies had jumped their pots. I know more have in other ponds. UGH! Thats what happens when 2 people have had back surgery. What a job and more ponds to go. But today is St Patricks Day and 31* with sleet. I hate winter. It is my birthday so going out to lunch.

Good to hear from you Vickie.
I'm also glad your lilies are doing good. My granddaughter helped me clean out one tank and repot some lilies while the temps were in the 80's Friday. It was 27* gain this morning.

Hello Sue glad to hear from you. I still cannot figure out this new chat. I miss talking with you. And today more snow is coming could be 8 to 10 inches. Spring yeah right!!!!

Sorry not been on for a while Happy Late Birthday that was my mothers Birthday too. I am not sure how much water gardening I will do this spring not buying any lilies this year if some made it that is what I will have if not then its not meant to be, I will have my taro though

Today we worked on another pond all day. More lilies have jumped the pots. What a job. We are dividing lotus. I hope we can plant them tomorrow. We hope to try and use our pond vacume tomorrow. We have never used it. This is going to be a busy summer for sure.
Gander I hope you do well this summer. I know what it is like to have health problems.
