Well I had four waterlilies that were tag less. All are lovely gifts from friends.  Two from Lorenzo, tropicals blues or purples.  One from Craig, thinking it's a night bloomer.  Which leads me to the hardy waterlily from Miss Kat. 

Kat identified this gorgeous lily this morning.  It has been making me wait  :swear:for a couple of days, to finally bloom.

So now I can officially add Perry's Orange Sunset to my list of waterlilies.  Thank you Kat!

Well my little lady loved it.  Her favorite bloom so far this year. She said to thank you very much.

Okay I have more that are now on my list of wait and see.  I made a purchase from a waterlily seller that I had not bought from in the past.  I made the purchase, out of curiosity.  Kind of one of those, lets see what the fuss is all about.  I was out this morning, moving around my smaller lilies.  Well, my lesson has been learned. They had been badly shipped, and are still trying to recover.  I finally have enough pads, to get a better look at them.   I don't believe now most of these lilies are what they were represented to be.  So, they have been moved so I can watch them, and hopefully identify what I purchased.

So I guess it the same old saying revisited. "If it looks to good to be true. it probably is".  Maybe there will be a gem among the weeds.  I will have to just wait and see.

It is a shame when purchased items turn out to be not as advertised.  Have been in that situation.  Sometimes mistakes can be made but when the seller gets nasty if you ask for help/refund/replacement then I know not to purchase from them ever again.  Hope your plants turn out to be what you wanted.

They were mainly viviparous lilies.  That's why it is pretty easy to tell they are wrong.  Oh well live and learn as they say.  They offered a refund if I shipped them all back.  I figured I would never see the refund.  Just not worth the hassle in the long run.  Maybe there will be something of interest, if not I will give them away as an RAOK.  Right now I still have limited space till every thing is done.  Just not a lot of room for extras.
