How big is your pond?  Might be able to help better with more info on what your dealing with.  What kind of fish do you have?  Also what size fish?

How deep is your pond?  You might need to drain it down a bit. That might make it easier.  Also, a seine net to contain the fish in a smaller area, might help.

You are not getting rid of Franklin are you?

For small fish I would use a wire fish trap I bought at WalMart.  Hang some fish food in it & would catch some babies about 1-2" big.

Beautiful pond & landscaping.

There is never enough room for all of the water lilies that I want ;-)

Gorgeous pond!  Franklin looks very happy.

Maybe use the seine net to block off part of the pond.  If you feed them in the same spot, might get them in a smaller area to try and net some.

I have tried that got some but not many. The trap sounds like a good idea. Is there a special net anyone can reccommend?

Try a crab drop net trap.  You may have to rig it with smaller netting.  Let them get used to it under where you feed.  Bring it up under them when you feed them.  Might head to one of the fishing docks there.   You may see something that would work for you.

Like Kat said use a minnow trap sold at any fishing gear store for small fish. Walmart carries them for around 10 bucks. Last year I had to relocate 20 over of my two year old Golden Orfe to a larger pond since they were jumping out of the smaller pond. Since they were too big for the trap had to use the fly rod. Catching them on a tiny fly is less stressful on the fish than draining the pond shallow enough to make a difference.
