Last Tuesday I put 1/2 a full season spike in my lotus tub...yesterday, I put in the other half. It looks like it might even survive the entire summer for once.
My KOS is liking the July temps also
There are probably at least four plants in each dishpan. I stuck two corms in each pan. I pinched a lot of pads after I took this pic.

It is about 12" across...I know, but it seems happy so far.
When I stuck it in there, I really thought it was a goner.
