I liked a couple of them but was also disappointed for the most part. I expect the girls to kick ass tomorrow like they did last week.

My age is showing, but I'd love to see an old fashioned crooner on the show.

They had an older guy on the auditions I think it was just for air time. He had lost his wife to cancer I believe and made a dedication. Maybe she was still alive .....memory lapsing.

My favorite guy is the one with the fro hair. I didn't get to see last week but hope the girls do good tonight.

I've never watched it but do think some of the talent that comes out of the show is amazing.

Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson in particular.

I've been watching it some this year.  I tend to forget what time (and I have clocks everywhere)  it is and miss 1/2 of it.  But what I've seen has been alright.  Some of the guys are good, but I agree about the girl.  They rock.

The old guy whose wife had passed could out sing all of those in the top 24. They should have let him on the show.

I am now a Melinda Doolittle Fan!

That girl has so much control in her voice, I am quite certain, if she does not become the next American Idol winner, she will most certainly become a household name that ranks amongst the most revered Diva's such as Billy Holiday, Barbara Streisand, Judy Garland and so on.

She doesn't seem to know how good she really is, I am positive, once she does, that girl will really shine :2thumbs:

I just finished watching the girls. And the 4 African American girls kicked some serious B~@#! I think there are a couple of good guy singers that will come into there own but this year I think the girls will rule! I had to get my Dish hooked up in the bed room so Idel didn't have to contend with the fights or anything else. Oh dang Tho I missed Bones! I love that show too!

Yes Melinda Doolittle is awesome.. such a SWEET personality!
My 2nd choice would be the other African American girl ( can't recall her name) but she was the one with the ORANGE (as Simon called it)

I definately think Sanjaya should be gone.  In my opinion, he just can't sing.  I was so upset, I think I may start voting.

I didn't watch the season with Kelly Pickler so don't know what she used to look like, but she looked awful last night.  Did you catch it when Ryan Secrest asked her what she had bought with her money, she said shoes, and he said "anything else", I felt like he was referring to her "Dollys".  Did she have those when she competed in American Idol?

Kellie Pickler was just as buxom last year as she is now. She used to have nice long straight blond hair that suited her much better.

Didn't like the outcome for the guys. Kelly did well last year and I like her longer hair better to. Maybe she had on a push up bra.

Yes Sanjaya might be a sweetie but he was AWFUL... he should have been gone.  I think Paula was very upset and shocked!

Yes, I think that Ryan was referring to her Dolly's!@ ;D

She might have had them last year but she didn't show them off like she did last night!!
As far as the song she sang, she wrote it... it's a song to her Mother. :'(
She sang it on the View a couple of weeks ago.  It was the very first time in front of an audience... Very hard for her, because it comes from her heart.

Hopefully Hollywood won't change her too much... too much cleaveage in my opinon but that seems to be the norm anymore. ::)

yes a deffenit change in her. I think the low cut and the push up did make her look more dolly and the hair I thought looked terriable. I hope to that she will retain her down home girl personaility

I didn't think the boys did very well last night, even the guy with the 'fro.  Better luck next time to them.  I agree that the girls seem better this time around.

I don't think Bones was on last night, I hope not at least!!  I checked but didn't see it on.  I did watch House after AI though, I love House, too.
