Ponding friends
« on: February 28, 2007, 10:29:47 AM »
I'm updating my photo album on my web site and would like to start an album for my ponding friends. If you would like to add your photo email it me or PM it. That includes you to Sean, Jerry, Joyce, Teresa, Kim, Esther, LeeAnne, Mike, etc.

PS. Pet photos and fish photos can be included.

I'm flattered but don't have a decent photo. I've been meaning to have a friend take one but keep forgetting. I weigh 20 lbs less than the horrid pics taken of me at the Portland Pond Party.

I just looked at your website a few minutes ago and you have done a good job. Thanks for sharing.

Wow Leeanne you are doing good on your weight loss. I fell off the wagon about the end of November and am still racing to try to get  back on.

I have swipped many from you guys already, I just don't have a cool web site but I do have my hard drive. It makes me feel more bonded if you will.  ;)   I still think we need a huggy little people!   Hugs!

The skinned knees story.

None of us had really met each other before, but the folks in Vancouver were putting together a "Pond Partay" to get together, gosh about four years ago now I believe.

Just prior to the planning. Sean had been down in New Orleans, and had tripped out of a bar, as one does down there, and bloodied up his knees - but did not spill one drop of his hurricane - atta boy!

Hearing that this Vancouver group was one which fell down while having a good time, I thought "I must meet those people", and LeeAnne and I went up from the States. During a Saturday evening BBQ, posters on the forum, who had followed all the plans for this 'partay' enquired if anyone had skinned their knees yet.

It was the work of minutes to raid the ketchup, and pose for this pic.

That is the short version, but still a fond memory for all involved.

Cheers,

Mike
