Frankly Scarlet bloom

Yesterday the bud started to open and today I saw the full bloom.   It has a very faint scent which is hard to describe.  Now I will have to wait and see how many of the other buds bloom as summer is ending.  Temperatures are starting to cool down and some rain is in the forecast.  Anyway, matherfish deserves some credit for sending such nice healthy lotus starts!

Beautiful plant and blooms! Thanks, but the credit is yours! You have done a great job caring for it and your rewards are in the pic. Frankly Scarlet was one of the first lotuses I started with, and may have been my first, I do not remember for sure. It definitely is one of my favorites. Awesome blooms!
