I hate to whine, but My wife has Parkinson's.  I tough time in life. Her short term memory is poor.
She has never had a ticket or an accident. She now has an accident.  Driving is coming to an end.

We went to a pond party on Saturday, she did well.
here is a photo..

Yes. She plays bridge tomorrow. She has a good group. The sharpest lady there  just had her 100th birthday.

I do not know about everyone else. but this is a very busy time for me. I have been shipping plants, and potting plants for the last few weeks almost every day. It will slow down in a couple of more weeks, but until then, I am in a constant busy.  Bob, I do not see the pic of the lotus bud. Please post it again.

Sorry to hear about Mrs. Jerry, but glad she is still enjoying as much as possible.

Hubby broke his ankle about a month ago and I am doing all the daily chores so he can stay off his foot as much as possible.  It just "seemed" like I was doing the biggest part of the chores.

Life is great, but there are tough parts.  Sue, was it you who once sent me a Hoya?  It is one hardy plant.
I've made cuttings that are thriving.

I am definitely feeling behind in the pond chores this year.  The hardy lilies have produced a number of blooms already but my tropical lilies are way behind where they were last year.  These past couple of days I transferred some from their smaller starter pots into the larger 1 gal pots.  (I store the tubers overwinter in baggies in the house and have to pot them up in the spring.)  Normally, I start them in small pots in buckets so I can bring them inside at night to keep them "warmer."  However, this year because we had some fairly warm temperatures earlier than usual this year, I started to leave them outside in the evenings sooner than usual and I wonder if that was just too cool for them.  I don't know if they'll catch up in their growth or not....  Last year was a really good year for the tropicals.  I finally got a "proper" lotus tub for my Frankly Scarlet lotus and it seems quite happy in there so I hope it blooms well this year.

Some of my hardy blooms: Comanche and Little Sue

I am just like many of you. I can't seem to get caught up. I still have lots of tropical lilies to pot up and the lotuses are not potted. Sorry for not being here more but I seem to run out of time.
