Kristin,

Your garden is charming!  I've got 1/3 of an acre and often wish I had something much smaller to maintain.  Bigger isn't always better so enjoy your garden!  Thanks for the great photos of your progress.  You are an inspiration......

Kristin:
Very Cool Pond. Some major digging there, I would imagine there were more than a few nights soaking in a very hot tub. I like how you documented it all the way through the building process. You have done good! Keep the picture's coming....................................KC 8)

Kristin, not only a fabulous pond but great writing and photos. WOW. your dog and cat are awfully cute too. I cannot believe you did that all yourself. I won't tell my DH, he is convinced women can't dig ;) wonder how that happened? I am sooo impressed.  O0

Kristin, that looks great! Your pictures, comments, and documentation was great as well! Did you make your bridge? If not, where did you get it from?

OMG!! I missed this before as well and I am stunned!  You are superwoman, digging all that by yourself, in the rain, and in 2 weeks???  Yowzaa!  It's a really spectacular island of beauty and serenity you have created.

The story was well written and I love the english bulldog, cracked me up.  Speaking of english, your english is exquisite. I'm doubly impressed.

Keep the pictures coming, I think we all want to see this pond as it goes through winter and into spring and summer.  Thank you so much for sharing this.

Wow!
first of all, I have to say that was a wonderful pictorial, and you have created a beautiful pond and garden. And, I love your fence, dog, the color of your house, bridge and absolutely everything that you have done.
that deserves very many thumbs up.
Way to go!!!
