Thanks y'all. I'm so tired I dated the second photo 3/18 lol. Those are Sarassa's with the long tail and some Pond Comets are in there too.

I expecially like the two lily pictures. They look so professional, like for a postcard or for framing, beautiful. So what's the PVC being used for?

Hi Esther,
I had emailed you with a couple of questions a few months back about painting pvc. The pvc is used to run from the Pond Master 9.5 in the middle of the pond that is being used for a water fountain to the Pond Master Mini in-pond skimmer that is on the left side of the pond. If the algae doesn't build up any more than what's on the pvc now, I will be breaking out the can of paint.  :) I don't like seeing the pvc.

BTW the mini Pond Master Skimmer has really made a difference in the water quality since installing it in early January. Hopefully it will make a big difference in the annual algae bloom (Pea Soup Pond water) that comes in early Spring.

We bought the Sarrasa's a year ago, all were multi colored and around 5 inches. A couple of them lost their red/orange color which we thought at first they were sick or something was wrong but they are fine like the other Sarrasa's bigger and really fat!

Great photos, how nice to be able to have lilies, clear water and see the fish.  Still have ice and snow, but it is slowly disappearing.
slackjeep, Sarrasa's are a comet(goldfish), usualy a white and bright orange almost red.  Just like Shubunkins, they are also a breed of goldfish, they will very in colors from reds to blues, it is thought that the more pale sky blue on one the better so I've heard.  I have both sarrasa, shubunkins and reg. goldfish, along with the koi.  Some short finned some long, I like the long fin better, but with koi, I tend to like the regular fin vs. the butterfly, not sure why.

Thanks again....I can't take credit for none of it as DH maintains the pond. I just repot the lily's when it's time.

You water looks so clear.  I'm sitting here looking at your pics over and over wanting to go outside.  Too cold here again, it was just a tease last week when our weather reached 75-82 for two days then took a nose dive.

Normally around Derby Day, things are pretty settled here.  That's when I get all my big planting done.
