I have always maintained that the four seasons are what makes the midwest the place to be. One day spring flowers, the next wilted plants. :'(

Yeah, I just hauled 3 wheel barrel loads myself the other day. this time of year, I only bring in what I'll need short term. I really want that space (where the wood is) in the garage for my bike

Oh my, how sad.   We have the same problem, without the snow.  Two weeks of 70's temps and everything was blooming and budding like crazy, then the cold snap.  My saucer magnolia blooms are black :'(  All of my bushes, lilac, snowball, etc., were full of buds and they are now hanging limp.  The clematis look like they have been melted as well as all of my daylilies.  We have a lot of buckeye trees along our lane and they are the first to leaf out, they are black now too.  I don't even want to go out and take a closer look at everything.   We are paying dearly for that nice warm spell we had earlier.

Today was in the 50's and tomorrow the same with rain.  Warmer in the 60's for the weekend, which is really where we are supposed to be.  That warm snap was TOO warm this early, and sped everything up too much.  My water in the pond is so clear right now, and all I can see is all of the yucky junk in the bottom!  It's too early to clean stuff out, my froggies are still trying to burrow into the leaf litter when I walk by

Looked just like that here Saturday mornin...then warmed up and I had to lift out the filters boxes and clean them.  Water is really clear though.
