It just gives me chills.  The world has so much hatred in it.  My heart foes out to the families sitting and waiting to hear from their children, and then the ones that won't hear from them.  Its so sad.

I saw the video where someone caught it on a cell phone, OMG.

Oh no I hadn't heard that yet. Mercy, I just can't imagine being there, being the shooter, being a jumper, even being around the atmosphere that will be left after the mess is cleaned up. So sad.

On the radio this morning I heard them saying one person had been shot and killed.  Later on the Internet I read where 22 had been killed and I thought it must be a typo.  I then turned on Fox News on TV and the count was up to 32.  Horrible.  Just horrible.

It is one of the saddest things that I've watched happen in a while . . . those were all young kids just about to begin their lives . . . . . I know that there are a lot of sad things going on in the world, but this is just so senseless . . .

It is a sad scarry thing what our world is comming too. kids shooting kids, kids shooting parents, parents killing there babies. Just scares the liven bageebees out of me. And I know what the parents are going threw. When my kids were in highschool there was a bombing at there school and waitting to hear about or to see your kids is a chilling thing to go threw. My prayers are out to all these families.
I'm just happier outside!

I found this very distressing, even though I don't personally know anyone involved (although I think my parents have a friend with a child at Tech - haven't heard anything yet.) I did grow up and go to college in VA (at William & Mary, not Tech), so it kind of feels like it happened in my home town anyway. We have lots of friends with college age kids, and my daughter will be going in three years. And my husband just wrote a church newsletter article interviewing all the college kids in our church. So college kids are on my mind.

I taught an adult Sunday School lesson yesterday about how there is redemption even in evil events. But I'm having real trouble finding how that applies here.
