At first I was thinking like Jerry and Greg until I saw who was the thread starter.  Love the pictures, can't wait for them to get up our way.

MEN and their wire and wheels. Now why is it that women thought of beautiful little birds when they saw hummer and men think of cars?  :-\

Loved the Hummer pictures. You can decide if I meant the birdies or cars.

Hummers are a delight to watch.  They are year-round residents here and their spring courtship antics have just started.

Isn't it ironic that the smallest bird and the largest car share the same name? I guess with men, as usual, they're always worried about who has the biggest... {:-P;;

Yes Sheila, size does matter!! lol  But it's still too cold for hummers here I think.  I still haven't seen a barn swallow yet, and it's really late for that.  They must be able to know that there wouldn't be any bugs for them to eat, so they are waiting it out down south a bit before trekkin up north!  Great pics Debbie!

How did you ever get such great photos? Honestly, I have wasted hours and hours sitting perfectly still, camera on a tripod, extra batteries at the ready, completely still, at all hours.

Needless to say, I have hundreds of blurry Hummingbird photos.  :D >:( :( >:(- >:(- >:(-

Beautiful!  O0

I'm blessed with lots and lot of them so you don't have to wait long, especially after the juvaniles come out! I set the camara on the movement mode and the shutter fast to take 10 pix instantly.
Really ladies men just think it matters lol
Mikey how lucky you are to have them year round. Yes it is something when they go into there bazar matting rituals, or when two dule in mid air round and round. But I love it when they land and sit still for a few seconds too.
Thanks everyone for the nice complaments.
