Notice my lack of blossoms. The ones I do get are white.
The Red Ears climb on to the pads and eat the fish food. I think they dine on mosquito fish as well.
They have grown!

I have overcome the leaf eating problem. I just have lots of plants, They grow faster than the turtles can eat. just like nature

Tinkster, generally the snakes won't other the turtle if there is any size to him BUT the raccoons will. They love turtle. I had 3 in the little pond out front. The iggest one started eating my koi so I had to remove him, as he was a native species I took him down to the lake and let him go (kids found 3 baby river cooters and they got big quick. Well the one did anyway the other two were raccoon food. Afte the turtle was gone a snake moved in and ate all of my bullfrog tadpoles and my fish. Found the snake fat with fish one day that was the last time he ate at andy's diner
