Can't get to sites! I can get on AOl though

I can via Firefox, but not aol. The messages I get indicate connectivity problems.
Some were because of a Microsoft update.  They said so, not me.The tech stuff they would send is fit only for an expert! What to do?

Solved it my way.  Uninstalled aol 8.0 and reinstalled it!  All is fine now! Ha!

Good job. I think sometimes the AOL software gets a permanent bug in it and your approach is the only way.

That software issue and their obtrusive ads and push philosophy is where they got the nickname AOHell.
