This rather splendid thrush was obviously looking for building materials

He or she decided he or she liked the green string a top the arch

The problem was it was still attached to the arch at one end

none of the photos really show the ensuing tug of war but the string won ............. repeatedly.
So our head strong chap or chapess tried a different approach.....
Flying off with the end of the string

He or she is IMO lucky they didnt break their neck, BTW they didnt fly off backwards, they took off facing forwards ie to the right and were yanked round facing to the left when the string snapped taut.
