That was my thought exactly.
I just took a few more pix of them. I don't know if any are any better.
I'll check them this evening when I move them to my computer.
They are pretty skittish. If I get within 8 feet they take off.

Those are truly wonderful!  I especially liked the tree frog - cute.  And the ones of the bugs eating holes in the plants made me laugh.  Just yesterday, I was fishing grass leaves out of my pond and cursing the lawn service guys across the street.  Of course, there's no way their clippings can get over my fence and into my yard.  The cut grass came from the caterpiller who's been in my bog for several days.

You know you can't trust those lawn guys... or the bugs either.

The wife bought a water mint for the new bog.

I bought dill and 2 types of fennel for swallowtail to live on...

They had another plan.
I found about 10 on the water mint on the other side of the yard today and her water mint now looks like swiss cheese.

Your certainly not nuts (unless of course a bunch of us are too, lol). I'd be delighted if my DH just once took a moment to examine a flower or a bug.  ::)
Oh well, he has other redeming qualities.  o(:-)
