I don't think its racisim, I think the man didn't want someone that got away with murder, then try to publish a book on how he would have done it.  Like rubbing it in saying, this is how I really did it but didn't get caught.  They said the whole resturant applauded.  Its a really high priced resturant here in Louisville.

I would be  :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: clapping.

I vote it was OJ. I wouldn't want him in my place of business either!  {nono}

I agree 100%, maybe some other establishments that he frequents will take notice as well! Nothing to do with "race" he is just a bad, bad, guy, hopefully when he meets his maker, he will pay...

I was sooooooooooo drawn into that trial.  It started me watching Court TV and I haven't quit watching it since.  Good live one on now, Phil Spector (1950's music mogul) accused of killing a woman.

As far as the OJ trial, the defence tryed to bring racism into the mix as the reason he was targeted as the suspect.  Funny part is, racism ultimately was a good thing for OJ as that's why the jury concluded he was innocent when it was obvious by all the evidence that he was guilty.

It was just another case of having popularity and pockets deep enough to hire the country's best lawyers.  Same as the Robert Blake case and so many others.  Money talks.

Yeah, I'd clap too.  O0

Jane, exactly! It's easy as pie to brainwash a jury... especially when your client has gobs of cash.

I don't care if the man is purple, plaid, or pink polka dot. He killed his wife and her friend and got away with it. I applaud the owner!! :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap:

Jane, I caught some of the CourtTV trial with the nurse accused of killing her husband and cutting him up and stuffing his body into suitcases and, I think, throwing them into the ocean. Whatever happened to her? I turned it on one day to see how it was going and saw it was on to the Phil Spector trial.

If our justice system did the right thing, the only place he should be eating right now is a jail cell!

Thumbs up to Jack Ruby!

Sorry so late with a reply, she got the book thrown at her, guilty on all charges.  That was a tough case.  The fact that he was such a heavy gambler led to thoughts of him getting zapped by people he owed.

I still thought she was guilty.  Well, hate to admit it, but, the minute I see the defendant I make my decision.  I'd make a terrible juror.   ::)

The Phil Spector trial is pretty good is they'd just move it along.....so many delays!  >:(

Oh, when I said about OJ " Funny part is, racism ultimately was a good thing for OJ as that's why the jury concluded he was innocent." What I meant by racism playing a good part for him was the jury composition, 9 black, 2 hispanic and 1 white.  I think he liked that aspect of racism.  ;)

Jane, I thought that was what you meant when you said it.  I was just sick when they brought in that "not guilty" decision on the OJ trial.  I really couldn't believe it.   :o

I wouldn't let him in my place of business, either!
