A couple more garden pics

A couple new plants have bloomed this week. We are finally getting a bit warmer here and the garden is really taking off.

Love the glow on those poppies.  All your photos are so beautiful.  Glad to hear the weather is picking up where you are, that means it's coming our way.  emm

Anytime I see something screech across a room and latch onto someone's neck, and the guy screams and tries to get it off, I have to laugh, because what is that thing?

Hi Mike,

These are very bright yellow and give colour to several areas of the garden. They reseed all over the place. They are especially nice with the blue bells.

Beautiful pics Maryvonne! I was wondering what type of fern you have in the photo with the Siberian Iris. Is this in full sun? I would love a few ferns around my pond but it is in sun almost all day.

Thanks Croft,
It's our native fern. My husband got the rocks from the edge of the forest on our property and the ferns just grew there on their own. They get full afternoon sun and seem to do ok with that, although I'm sure they would be mush happier in their original spot. Most ferns do better with shade.
