The garden columnist for the Los Angeles Daily News will come to see the pond this Sunday morning. Yes I did invite him to the party as well, but he asked to meet Sunday.

You can be sure i will mention this site......a lot!
I will be on my best behavior and feign modesty.

i will post the column, if and when.

Remember when you needed tips on "polishing" your pond water for the annual pond party? Bet you don't need the QB now. I'm glad the vine climbed over your spillway by now. I know you were unhappy with the way the spillway turned out.

By the way, the term "Polishing" I picked up from Carlos. it may be original with him.

I remove a few pads from my Skippy and hose them off. Just garden hose water. There are many pads still in place with the "Good Stuff."

Jerry, it's a win-win situation. Even if the interview doesn't get published, at the very minimum you have the opprotunity to convert someone to the ponding lifestyle. After he sees your pond, he will most definitely want one for himself.

I have read Joshua Siskin's column for many years. He writes well and it is like literature!
Coincidently I just learned that his family are friends with my daughter.
He asked for more directions today, so it is in the bag!

Julie dear. I have been interviewed dozens of times in the print medium as well as on radio.. I will be on radio tomorrow ,Saturday on Ronnie kovach's fishing show. I have been a guest on that show many times. Too bad one must be up at 6:00 am to hear me! Not even my kids care anymore! I also did a 6 part TV series on my trade on ABC TV. That too was at an un-Godly hour.
I write for numerous Kayaking and fishing magazines. I could go on. and on, but you have the idea. In all modesty I have had my share of seeing my name out there!

I hope this doesn't sound terse, cause it is not. just the facts ma'am.

Some day if I live long enough i'll get a prime time gig.

I know SD is far away, but hope you can come to the party on sunday!

Joshua siskin the garden writer for the Los Angeles Daily News was here this morning as promised. He loved the pond as well as some unusual plants.
He went home with a nice Manihot and copious notes.
Next Saturday's column will feature our pond! Yes, he will give our site address!
