I dug a spot behind the pond, and set the rubbermaid down into it and then edged it with rocks.  We have an endless supply of awesome rocks next to our house...

(You can see in the pic above a couple of huge rocks at the back edge of the picture that I just had to have- and yes, I hurt my back getting them but they were worth it  :P)

From deck above

Pics of the fish

Misc. tubs everywhere

Upper pond

Frog

First Commanche bloom- very small, and didn't open all the way, but it was the first for it, and hey- it's a bloom  ;)

Thanks for looking  :)

Oh oh, I can tell for sure you're addicted. Good for your wife to go along with it. I think most of our spouses aren't really interested in our addiction but being the good spouses they are, they put up with it.

Thank you for the compliments all!

Kathy- that is too funny about Matt.... When we were out fishing a couple of weeks ago, there were all kinds of ferns growing on the bank near the pond, and I just had to bring one home to plant behind my pond.  Of course, I had no shovel or anything, so I found a stick and worked it like a saw around the fern until I finally got it out of the ground- clump of dirt and all.... I felt like a caveman LOL...  My birthday was the next week, and as part of my gift, my mom had bought me a portable spade with extendable handle to keep in the car to always have just in case I find something I need to dig up somewhere!  LOL
