I got a message from Lawanna about plants comming from her. Her MIL is in ICU and they are not sure she is going to make it . I thought maybe all you could send up a prayer for her and her family.

I tried to call Lawanna last night but just got her machine.

Just wanted to let her know that we are thinking and praying for her and her family.

sorry this is a copy and paste...but, I don't have alot of time to post...just wanted you guys to know how things were and that all of your prayers are greatly needed and appreciated....

You guys are the best....I am home only long enough to feed and water all my babies....I checked the messages on the phone.... and just wanted to thank all of you for your prayers, telephone calls and messages on the answering machine....She went in last Thursday for stomach problems and weakness....on Sun. they were doing a reverse enema and she aspirated....It was me and John who found her...thank goodness I had forgot my purse in the room when we were going out to eat....we got back up to the room and she was already turning blue....so they had to put her on a respirator and send her down to ICU unit....the digestive dr. says she has paralyzed bowels and that nothing can be done about it-only push fluids and pray for it to start working again...she also has a touch of Pneumonia in her right lung, anemia, and her kidneys are not functioning very well....and of course she has had COPD, emphysema and diabetic for years....thank you all for keeping us in your prayers....and sorry I haven't been able to post but, we have not left her side only long enough for me to come home to feed and water.....I just haven't taken the time to get on the computer because I don't like leaving John alone at the hospital...in case something happens to his mom...she is in critical but, stable condition right now...just keep us in your prayers....

I just had alittle time and thought I'd let you all know how things were going....good news.....
she has been off the ventilator for 2 days now and is awake and talking up a storm-but, they are still not letting her have anything by mouth hoping she can today.....she also has bowel sounds so that is looking good to....thank you for all of your prayers....they worked ......she still has a ways to go but, it is looking really good at this point....
