Nocturnal Visitor
« on: May 22, 2007, 07:35:59 PM »
I decided to go outside tonight after American Idol to sit by the pond. Chelsea, one of my shih-tzus wandered over to the pond, and all of a sudden, I heard a big splash. Looked over there and saw this big frog swimming to the other side. Seems Chelsea had invaded its space. Anyway, a few minutes later, I saw him again, this time sitting underneath one of my angels. Of course, I had to take a couple of pics to share with everyone.

Winner will be announced tomorrow night. Tonight was the competition between the final 2, Blake and Jordin. I'm rooting for Jordin.

NICE FROG! Is this the first time you have seen him? I haven't seen our big one for 4 days now. Hope he's just hiding. :-\
The 2 smaller ones came out yesterday, and I hadn't seen them for 3 days. I think Buckley (dog) has been trying to catch them.

Yes, it's the 1st time I've seen him this year. I have a bullfrog that lives in my smaller 120 gal pond, but this one is bigger.

Thats cute, you had a picture awhile back of a frog in your parrots feather plant.  I loved that, but really want to know how long you have been growing th plant to get it that thickened up.  I Started 3 plants and they are doing ok, sending out runners but not that thick.  Whats the trick.

Sorry, forgot to say the frog pictures are cute.  :o

I'm voting for Jordin too. Since Melinda and Lakisha were booted. I thought they were both better singers. I cannot stand Blake.

LeeAnne, I was rooting for Melinda since the auditions. I was so bummed out when she got booted off last week. Melinda, Lakisha and Jordin are my favorite as far as the girls. I really liked Phil, the sailor, I just can't get into Blake, but I can see why he's so popular. He is very different.
