Yes, John, I'm proud to be flying my new American flag today.

Our church always honors the veterans and those who have served our country during the morning church service on Memorial day weekend. I always get goosebumps when they do that and never am able to sing much of the National Anthem or God bless America. I get too choked up.

Yes, Thanks to all the military that has kept us safe.  And a prayer to all the ones that have lost this lives fighting to defend the USA, also for the families that have lost loved ones.  I also hung a new flad today.

We had the honor to shake hands today with some sailors on leave, they are going back soon. I loved cheering for them, and hearing other folks cheer for them, during our Memorial Day parade. I was definitely choked up! I loved seeing all the "old geezers" from wars past- Nam, Korea, WWII. Amazing how little is thought of them unless it's Memorial Day. I love them dearly... but always remember to think of the folks who made the Ultimate Sacrifice.
