Gee, how DO i get the water to flow sideways? haha! Let me try again....
Those sunny yellow iris blooming at the falls were from LIVE TO GARDEN last summer.....THANKS CATH!! Then there are purple siberian iris at the top.
This is a new hydrangea, called forever and ever. It's like the Endless summer in that it blooms on old and new wood. but this one is pink.

Beatiful flowers, but that strawberry looks delicious.  I think I can smell it through the monitor.

karen-
I have the hydrangea in full sun. I just planted them, we'll see how they do. the tag said sun and sun/part sun in the south. My endless summers get the HOT afternoon sun. They wilt a little and I hit them with some extra water and they perk right back up. They have been in 3 years now. With our winters, I have only gotten new growth, so they don't get as tall.

mmmmmm...strawberry margarita DOES sound good. maybe when i get a few more berries!

It's finally here!! I don't know who it is though. Very light pink bottom petals, white upper petals and yellow center.

Very nice Kathy,
If you want your waterlilies to open faster, go away for the weekend. When you come back, they'll have bloomed. ;)

I shelled out almost three bucks for a strawberry lemonade at Burgerville yesterday and it was worth every penny. Our local berries should be coming on any day now. They are far superior to store bought California berries. No offense to California but local Oregon berries truly make theirs taste like cardboard.

LeeAnne-
We are going away this weekend. I bet a bunch more will open. At least Mom will enjoy them, she's dog sitting.

Isn't it funny how different the strawberries are? When I have to buy them, there are some brands I will not even bother with. I have 2 varieties in my garden. One is cavendish and the other I cna't remember and the tag is gone. they have spread so much that i don't know which is which anymore anyways. One is MUCH better tasting than the other. Both are June bearers. I need to get some everbearers so I keep getting berries!

Strawberry lemonade sounds great!
I have a quick, easy recipe for Lemonade pie if anyone is interested. Always a hit!
