The one day dream that I ever wanted to come true.

I've always had day dreams of being recognised for something that I have done. That day dream might just come true. I got an email today from a garden editor for a local magazine. They want to do an interveiw with me. I was giddy after reading this. I just couldn't beleive it. I will try to contact them tomorrow after work and see how soon they want to do it. I've got a lot of work to do in the yard before they can come here. The ponds are a mess and there are unfinished woodworking projects all over the place. This could have happened at a worst time but again, it couldn't have happened at a better time. I was getting a bit down about the club and now the club has paid off.

I may be a local celebrity now.

Good luck Scott. I hope it all goes well. Sometimes it takes something like that to motivate me to get things done I might have let go otherwise so get movin guy... Take pictures when you get it all the way you want.

Thanks everyone. I didn't get home in time today to reach her, I had to go pick up a 40 gallon aquarium that a coworker gave me. I will take the number with me to work and try her at lunch.

Karen, it's no problem. It would have already been done except plans got changed this past weekend due to picking up a swing and couch for the new house.

By the looks of their website, it's a seasonal magazine for the more expensive homes. If the article isn't published on their website, I'll be sure to get permission to use it here.

Well, I did it. The interveiw was by phone (she was in Oregon). I have VOIP phone so there was no long distance charges. She really enjoyed the information that I gave her. She helped me out by letting me know that she found me by doing a search for water garden clubs in Ocala, FL. Now I know that I can be found.
