Anemopsis californica
« on: June 01, 2007, 12:31:51 PM »
Anyone have this plant? I just picked one up this week. They called it bear's root, said it blooms all summer. Small white flowers 16-20" tall, full sun to part shade, hardy zones 4-10
Tag says:

Yerba Mansa:
Marsh and creekside plant that is alkaline tolerant. Perrenial that has large waxy, grey-green leaves with amazing flowers all summer.

I like the bloom.. Are you using as a bog plant?

In the Lizard's Tail Family so I would think it would be a good grower.

Hi!

I tried the Yerba Mansa. It bloomed a little. I think I drowned it though.  I would buy more if I found it again in my area.

Good luck!!!!!  O0
