Pink Peal pic
« on: June 10, 2007, 09:05:53 PM »
This is another lily that is much bigger than I planned but the color is such a deliate pink.  The color of the flower with the pads make this lily one of the best picks of the lilies that I have. This lily has also been a frequent bloomer too.  There are 7 buds on the plant and 2 flower.

Nice shade of pink.  Stupid question  {:-P;; In the last pic has the potted lily been lifted out of the water or that's how you normally position the pot?

I have a Lily Pons too, it was sent to me by mistake a few years ago for American Star.  When it bloomed I posted a pic and asked isn't this Lily Pons.  The person that I bought it from felt so bad about the mix up. It didn't bother me on the mix up, I loved the bloom.  I get a few blooms out of it each year, not many but its so unique I don't mind so its a keeper.

miguynmkoi, no that is not how the pot normally sets..   ::) I was moving the lily from the upper pond to the lower pond ... thought it looked interesting setting up like that  ;D

Kim, I agree... the Lily Pons is certainly a keeper

I do like lilypons,  maybe I will have to try it,   I was going to buy Glorie-du-Temple-sur-Lot  this year but heard the same thing about it.  Do you think Lilypons would be a better bloomer, I love the bloom

Gorgeous blooms!  I sure hope to get a bloom out of my lilypons this summer- this is my first year with it.  Marla- this is my first year with both Lilypons and Gloire-du-Temple, but from everything I have heard, Lilypons blooms much more often than Gloire.....
