Clematis finally taking off

here is a pciture of a clematis I have had for a couple years now.  It has really gotten big this year.


Here is one I bought last year and I thought it died.



I have some others that are still small but growing can't wait to see them.

Pretty!

They really do take at least three years to mature. It can be frustrating.

The second one is Florida sieboldii. The first looks like Ville de Lyon. They are both hard pruners every spring for best bloom.

I don't know what the first one is but I knew the second ones name I just didn't feel like looking it up right now  :teehee: lazieness I guess.

Beautiful! I planted one early this spring (don't know the name, just that it's supposed to be purple). Can't wait for it to take off like yours!
