Thanks at least someone remembered to say it
… The soul is dyed the color of it’s thoughts. Think only on those things that are in line with your principles and can bear the light of day. Happy Father's Day to all you guys who do what you have to day in and day out. Especially to all of you newer dad's and grandad's like Sean.

Hey El Jefe.....

It's been a pretty good father's day... militarily speaking.

I worked for about 10 hours. Just got home.

The wife bought me a new water lily for Dad's Day... General Pershing. Here is a pic taken by our own Lou Belloisy of what the general looks like...

This morning we missed the call but my oldest called from just outside of Bagdad. 1st we've had any contact since he went there just over a month ago.
He was calling to wish me Happy Dad's Day and the wife Happy Birthday... hers was Friday. Didn't get to talk to him but it was good to know he is doing fine.

Tim

On a quest for the elusive lilies...

Happy Father's Day to you ALL.

It was a Very HOT Father's Day here.  Reached up to 96, and I had a cook out and grilled.   I felt like the wicked witch,  I'm melting, I'm melting.  Plus being up all night at work.  I'm wore out tonight, its 9:17 pm and its still 91.  We normally don't reach these temps until July or Aug....its going to be a long HOT summer.

We spent the day pulling out Garlic Mustard from our woods. Probably wasn't the greatest day for Dad though, we are grimy, dirty, covered in bug spray, hands torn apart, hot, sweaty, and shaky due to lack of food. A great day, though, because our kids helped us tremendously and they were virtual (almost) angels!

Hot dogs for us. Quick and easy. :-\

Figures yesterday 96 degrees, today overcase and still only 83.  But the cook out did turn out well, I cooked for 10 people....and it all went over well.
