Quite a few blooms on the North pond this weekend, Leydekeri Lilaca, White Odorata, Texas Dawn, james Brydon, Perry's Orange Sunset, Georgia Peach and Little Sue seem to be enjoying the protection from the deer under the nets.

This is the strangest weather we have had in years. I feel like a yo-yo one week its cold and the next week hot and humid! I really feel microclimates in the pond and my red Spider is in a cool spot, but i think its starting to get going!

Very nice seeing your lilies bloom so well. You have some really pretty ones in there. Your flower beds are looking great too. The weather here was strange here this spring too. It was colder than usual, then a small heat wave in May and back to cold and rainy and this week it's summer, hot and very sunny. I brought the tropicals out last Tues. They are doing very well and starting to bloom well. I hope your lilies continue to bloom and that those drat deer stay away. I think our's is in some ones freezer. We heard some shots one Sat afternoon a couple weeks ago and haven't seen the deer since. There is now a bear alert in our area so may see one of those yet.
