Critters around the Pond
« on: July 15, 2007, 06:26:37 PM »
No I don't have any toads, but Green & Lepoard Frogs I find all the time.  Apparently they are procreating faster than I can remove them!!!

The other photo is of a dragon fly I hadn't seen before.

Yes the frogs definately multiply very fast, don't they.....

I cleaned out my stocktanks yesterday and they were loaded with dragonfly nymphs.

Very nice!  I have tons of frogs, but so far no eggs or tadpoles in my one year old pond.

Neat dragonfly pic. I can almost see a "face" on him :).
I used to have green frogs every year. Not this one though for some reason. You've got a nice one there.

I have some frogs too, but haven't had any breed in my ponds.
Bought 3 tadpoles and I think 2 are little frogs now. caught them out of the corner of my eye when they jumped.
Couldn't get a good look at them.

BIG electric blue dragonfly hanging around, but he's camera shy!!
Dumb dragonflies keep getting in the pool and dying! Hate to see them there.

Beautiful pics, I love Dragonflies...I think they are facinating.  Your lilys are very pretty, along with that little butterfly.
