Jean Marie is a new lily in our pond this year. We got it in a trade. It's a very pretty soft pink lily. It's smaller than our other hardies. We love it. Thanks Emm!

Thanks miguynmkoi, The bud in the back is Midnight. It was late in the afternoon when I finally finished mowing the lawns and had time take the camera out. The bud in the back is Midnight which was open earlier in the day. Actually the only bloom still open was this one.

Maryvonne, so glad you like Jean Marie.  The Colorado you sent me has been teasing me for days but I'm sure it will open tomorrow, I've been seeing colour for a couple of days.  There are 3 flower buds on it now.  I will copy my message about Jean Marie from the plant exchange section in case you did not see it.  Not sure if it really does prefer the shallower water or if it has just finally come into it's own. 

Hi Maryvonne, glad Jean Marie has shown you a bloom, they really are very pretty.  Mine has 3 blooms open on it right now and has had 1 or 2 blooms steadily for several weeks now, better than it has performed before.  It is in a shallower position in the pond than it has been in the past, probably about 12" of water over the crown.

Thanks every one. I did see your note Emm but I have been so busy lately I haven't had much time to write. One of the other Colorado babies has been teasing us with it's first bloom too and finally today it was open. It's quite small compared to the parent plant but very cute. Hope yours has opened by now too.

 I bought a Doll House on eBay earlier this year that is supposed to be that soft blush pink and a small/tub plant but it turned out to be someone else. Looks like Barbara Dobbins but the seller says she doesn't have Barbara Dobbins. She is supposed to be sending a replacement Doll House in bloom so we will see. Marilyn says she isn't as small as I thought dang it.
