Want your pond photo in a water garden magazine?
«

For anyone who's interested (I'm not), I received the following e-mail:
Hi Mike,
I came across your website through your recent post on Garden Web about the Southern California pond party last weekend. Sounded like a lot of fun.
Reason I'm emailing is that I edit a magazine called Water Gardens and am looking for photos of people's water gardens to feature in the magazine. We're doing a special readers gallery section with photos and brief write-ups about the gardens.
Thought you might like to email me photos of your pond for consideration, and also pass the word to any of your pond friends, in California or anywhere in the country, who might want to email me photos of their water features.
Hope to hear from you soon. Let me know if you have any questions.
Best,
Mara

Mara wrote me today thanking me for posting the information. She said she has received several responses.

Tinkster,
I submitted some pictures for a magazine article last week (work) and had to use a friends camera, 8.1 megapixel, (my 3.2 din't cut it) and sent full sized pics. He said that it worked out OK.

My pond is in no condition to be photographed for a magazine. Too many blasted toys all over the place, & a ton of string algae!
