Oh ow.  I hope that isn't deep.  But your photos are gorgeous.   I am suffering from rock envy...I really love all the rocks.  Your fish are so beautiful, too.

Thank you Ruthie, It's not to bad just a nice clean slice, and the side of the leg just akes a bit. I have collected rocks from all over Washington for years. I even brought a small one home with me on the plain from Omaha when my grandaughter had her transplants. I still need a lot more tho. I'm hopeing that as my shrubs and plants grow it will soften the look a lot.

me too!  I collect rocks from all over.... we have no rocks in my part of Louisiana.  When I started building the pond and complaining about 59 cents per pound for rocks at the landscaping store, a friend of mine from Colorado actually mailed me a rock for the pond  ;D  My mom lives in TX and she loads up her van whenever she makes a road trip our way.  I still need more, too.

Lawanna, you'l be proud of me. before it did the boo boos I finally got your two little lilies planted in big pot to leave in the house. They have been sloatting in the kiddy pond all this time as I havent had much motivation. The pickrill was in 3 sections so I had planted the bigest one first and it's doing great but I had left the smaller ones in the little pool to get some groth and I got them planted too!  @O@ finally some motivation. Too bad I blew it by falling. lol

Owey :o I guess that is an example of why we shouldn't work around the pond when noone else is around. But if I did that, I'd never work in the pond.

Your pond and the pictures are lovely.  o(:-) Being from Omaha, I'm curious where in this city did you find a rock to pick up? I thought we had to truck them all in from Colorado. lol
Dianne,
I'm really not crazy, I just talk to my fish.

I had to tredge threw snow and ice and I think -60 wind chill to go down and get it. I spooked up some deer down in the revieen too. And I also saw my first Cardnial. He was high in a tree but thank goodness for a good zoom on my camara. It sure wasen't very big, maybe 5" or so cuz nothing bigger would fit in my suit case.

Ouch, that looks painful.  The bright side is, that you saved your camera and it could have been alot worse.  Your pond looks great.

If you garden, sooner or later you get bruised.   Pond look sublime! o(:-)
I found polysporin (sp) applied promptly helps.

Debbie, glad I stopped in here.  NICE pictures, sorry about the booboo.  Wow the pond looks nice and clean, not much green in there.  The heat here has mine doing rollercoaster greens this year, but nothing I can't look past.

Hi Marla, I havent seen ya for a long time and been wondering where ya are? Hope all is good? Or is it that I just havent been around much latley? I'm in Ellensburg now with my son and his wonderful wife Ingrid. Were camping out in my 5th wheel trailer. Ingrid just took me out to this wonderful BBQ rib place and I'm so stuffed I can hardly move.I better rethink going and buying some skinny pants tomarrow? If I continue to eat like that I'll be filling mine back up in no time! lol It is good that I can eat now anyway with out getting sick.

Glad to hear you have an appitate again.  Been busy working, babysiting and getting the yard ready for the pond show we were in, it was an honor for us because our local dealer does not usualy put do-it-yourselfers in their shows, so we needed to get the place looking a bit better, because the dry/hot weather had things looking sad, now since the show and that weekend it has done nothing but rain, have had 7" in the last 2 days, and is going to rain all week and DH and I took vacation this week >:(

Oh what a privilage to be asked. I was asked last year to be in the local pond tours but declined. Didn't think things looked good enough. I'm just busy running off playing with my family a-far every chance I get. First my brother and sister in law. for 3 days then Raina and my Bekka for 3 days, now just back from my son and daughter in Law for 3 days. I'm loveing it too.
