Lots of ideas but I don't have the tools.  Look at these bridges and see if you can build one on your own -

For me....Someday (8:-)

Good Luck!

Are you thinking a bridge made out of wood?

If it doesn't matter, do you have access to creek rock or flat rock of any kind?

You could use cement blocks and top with large flat rock.......

As far as a CHEAP wooden bridge.. they aren't cheap UNLESS your DH can get free lumber from work! O0

If you have a chainsaw, time & a dead tree that could be dragged into place...

I ride my bike accross it when I'm feeling the need for adreneline fix.

Hi-
I saw a pretty nice looking bridge today at Sam's Club....
Garden Bridge

The box said it will hold something like 2200 lbs!  Very nice looking...72" long x 36" wide.
I'm broke and can't afford to pay attention, so you might have to lend me an ear.

DH and I bought the Garden Bridge a week ago.  It is very heavy duty.  If you plan to get it, make sure to measure the length first so see if it will fit over your pond.  We didn't and found out it only fit on the end of the pond.  DH now wants to dig a dog leg out so the bridge will look pretty.   :;D

Mike your water fall looks nice. Do you have anymore pictures? I'm trying to also make water fall. What kind of pump did you use? Thanks

I'm a techno-newbee, but I set up a blog with a time-lapse batch of photos at blogger.com  I called it "pond & waterfall."  I couldn't figure out how to link anyone who's interested from here to blogger.com

As far as bridge sizes go--I was suprised how long my span needed to be to work right.  That log above is 19' 6".  I knew I wasn't going to be able to buy something off the shelf.
