A sad day......

I just got this email from Joyce:


"Thought maybe you'd wanna know and tell those at the forum to say a prayer for Gene and his family.
Gene from Koi Village: his wife died today of Acute Myeloid Leukemia and complications with her heart.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss Gene.  I'm glad to read from the link to Koiphen that you have a good support group during this time of healing.  My prayers are with you, your family and friends.

To Gene - I'm really sorry to hear about the loss of your wife...I lost my husband of 20 years, over 9 years ago and still miss him...you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers...once again, I'm so sorry

I remember Gene giving me helpful advice when I was picking out a pump for my pond.

I tried to send an email but it didn't work for me either.  Please convey my sympathy to Gene also.  He helped me a lot with purchasing a pump also.  I know what he's going thru as I lost my husband 2 months ago.   He's going thru a terrible time, so sorry for him and his family.
