Wow, again!  CliffandJoann, my fish look like guppys compared to yours.  But I still love my babes.  I missed them terribly while I was away on vacation and the first thing I did when I got home was look for them.  They were swimming under a layer of over grown water lettuce  >:(-  Threw out the overgrowth and there they were.  Home again!

Here's a few pictures taken this am.  I had to take some things out becuase of the water drainage issue, but you get to see all the fish at once

reflections

this branch is a reflection...it's not in the water, it's 15 feet overhead!

a couple Hifin Sharks with the others

This is what I put in the middle, a PVC "table" covered with slate for a place to hide.

I'm broke and can't afford to pay attention, so you might have to lend me an ear.

I apologize for this Interruption of subject but I need to know -

Michael, how'd you post so many photos on one post/reply?  I have many photos to share but 4 per post is really pushing it when I have 20 or more for the post.  I hope you will share!  Thanks.

Hi Annette...I have a website, and all the photos are posted there, so I just put a link.

Clicking on this button: (above the smileys when you post) will allow you to enter the url of the picture instead of loading it from your hard drive.    ;)

You can also use a hosting site, like Photobucket like CliffandJoann did (or Cliff or Joann)

Joanne, I saw your photos and knew before even looking whose fish those were, they are just so beautiful.  All the fish posted so far on the thread are pretty.

I don't have pretty Koi with long flowing fins, or well, pretty at all, but they are beautiful to me.  The sarasas goldfish I have is rather nice, if I do say so myself:

Here were all five of my fish with one of our frogs last June:

What gorgeous fish!  I like where the white one is looking straight into the camera.

The frog is cute, too.  And BIG!

Barb, your sarasas goldfish are beautifull.  Thanks Julles for pointing out the frog.  It is big  :o  We have a frog that is singing every evening now.  I hope he knows it's winter and to find someplace warm to sleep.  :)

Thanks!  That is actually one of our smaller frogs.  We get as many as a dozen in and around my little pond, mostly bullfrogs.  The fish come up and nibble on the frog's legs, but it doesn't seem to bother the frogs.   :o

I hear frogs in my neighborhood, but they rarely make it back to the pond.  I'm glad too, because they're loud!  But I have had up to three toads visiting from time to time, like this guy below.  I think he's a California woodland toad or Southwest...or something.  They don't spend a lot of time in the pond, mostly around it or in the yard.

Nice!   lots of fancy tails!  I like the Shubbies(?) on the right.  I have one that I named 'Spirit' because he's red/white/blue...

Here are most of the herd, some have disappeared with the help of the local wildlife. I'm going to trap raccoons one of these nights, spraying with the hose doesn't phase them much...

Wonderful pictures of beautiful fish.  I have a really hard time photographing fish in the water, they never turn out good.  Joann, your pictures are always amazing.  Here's one I call "dinnertime".
