Sunny thoughts
« on: December 09, 2007, 06:09:47 PM »
I spent this past summer turning the swamp in my back yard into something pretty darn nice.
It's location--surrounded by trees and frequented by herons--rules out koi.  Now its' ice-covered.  In fact, two deer were walking on it yesterday.  To my suprise they didn't fall in.
the pic below recalls warmer times.

Your pond looks wonderful and natural.  Just like a small lake in the forest. Nice!

Welcome Mike! You've got a gorgeous pond in a beautiful, natural setting - you can't call it a swamp anymore :)
