The event was a breakfast at the Woodland Hills Marriott..I'd have gone if she told me she was.
Mapquest has sent me the long was often.  Once there I'd say geesshh I could have done such and such.

I go to auditions and not finding obscure addresses is scary.  All the actors I've talked to agree.
They all complain about mapquest, all, so far are delighted with GPS systems.

The myriad of reviews we read and printed were 99% positive

We settled on a Garmin 650.  The Costco price was excellent, about 334.00 with frt and sales tax.
I had trouble setting it up, but a 6 year old helped me.  It is funny as heck the way it talks to me.
I feel I need to say "Yes ma'am!", Thank you ma'am!" @O@

I used it today to go to an audition. There was a barricade up and I had to turn prematurely.  The voice said "We are rerouting you!" Wow. o(:-)  I said "Yes Ma'am"

Glad it's working out so well for you Jerry.  My stepson bought us a GPS unit for Christmas and we have tried to get her lost, but she's too smart for us.   O0

Jerry,
I'm glad your Garmin is working out for you.  I'm also glad you did not go with my recommendation of Magellan.  I purchased a software upgrade on November 27, and still do not have it (and I chose the download version instead of getting the CD in the mail)!  Their customer support is the absolute worst I've ever encountered. >:(-
