I've been mia for a while. Between school, executive committee for my fraternity and some new hobbies (high-tech planted aquariums)--currently planning a saltwater tank for spring. For some reason, I always find myself interested in expensive hobbies

Good to see you back!  But that's just not right being able to have such beauties flowering at this time of the year...    I understand salt water aquariums can run into quite a bit of money as they tend to be difficult to keep everything in balance........  Here a twenty, there a twenty, everywhere a twenty, twenty twenty.......

They are sure blooming right now. I'm going to plant some tubers sometime this week and get some more plants blooming.

 I hope last semester went well for you. 

Nice pics, I do miss the warm weather of Florida.  The only period that was light on blooms in the redlands was for 2 weeks usually between new years and mid-January.  I will have to scan in some pics (only non-digital hard copies) some time.

We in California are relatively warm,but not warm enough for our water plants.   I am sure the Mikes, Annette, Jonna. Argos and others are in the same boat Im in.  The pond looks awful.

Well, it was 86* today here where I am but I've been told it's been a lot colder where my pond is in the Calif desert.  I keep bugging them to send me pictures but so for, none.  She did say that the lily pads were covering the pond and one of them was still blooming, don't know which though.  I need a spy cam, that's what I need!
