My new bike
« on: January 27, 2008, 10:10:45 AM »
Hey all,

This is what I'll be riding next summer.
It's a Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe. I set it up old school, solo.

Another year of maintaining and enjoying the ponds and gardens, and doing more riding.

 @O@ Alright Steve! That is a beauty, but I agree with Bonnie, why solo? One is the loneliest number that you'll ever know! Good thing you can't hear me lol
I'm just happier outside!

Pretty funny Mikey @O@ @O@

Actually, I'm gonna look for another bike that I can take out in the cold and salt. I plan on having it before next winter.
Then on a day like today. I'd go riding. Got all the way up to 31 O0
Wasn't all that warm, but a beautiful sunny day.

As far a solo goes, I've always hated someone on the back. Now there have been those times when this really hot chick felt pretty good back there. O0

If I meet someone that trips my trigger, I just may put the back seat on for her :D {:-P;;, but only for a little while.
But, I'm not lookin {:-P;;

I really like the old school look. The big white walls and the seat are great.  Mike M

That is one nice looking bike! I used to ride all the time when I was younger, I started out with dirt bikes when I was very young, and then started riding street bikes when I turned 16, even drove my Spectre through a Michigan winter as my only mode of transportation(drove my parents crazy), but as soon as my kids started getting a little older, I started to worry about feeding them if something happened. So needless to say I sold all of the bikes sometime ago. Hopefully after they go to college I will start riding again, I do miss it!!

Nice bike, Steve!! We have a '03 Yamaha V-Star Silverado that hubby and I ride. We just got it last spring. We love it!!! We are just waiting on the weather to warm up so we can get back on it and ride!!!

He also has an '84 HD Sportster that he is about to begin rebuilding. He just got a new tank for it and is getting ready to start tearing it down. It's going to be a solo bike when it's done.

Enjoy!!!
