Blue Fish Qu....

How come the blue fish don't have color on their heads?  Other koi have spots of color on the head.

depends on the variety... asagi are supposed to have white heads..the whiter the better

 some asagi do have orange on their heads....of course as Mary pointed out---they aren't supposed to so those are usually culled....I have seen a tancho asagi....but, it just didn't look right to me.....Here is some babies we pulled from the pond last fall....Look in the upper left hand corner....

I've seen the tanchos also,  either with or without someday I'm going to get myself an Asagi. (8:-)

We are hoping to start shipping this spring....I've just got to figure out how its done...I'll let everyone know when we start....there's already a list forming for Fred and Ginger babies  ;)
