Silver Spring, a suburb of DC

I can tell you're from there - you said it right, Jerry!  So many people say/type "Silver Springs".  I graduated high school in Silver Spring, lived in White Oak...can't remember if I had told you that before.
I'm broke and can't afford to pay attention, so you might have to lend me an ear.

I want crab cakes.  :-\  They put bell peppers in them here and I hate bell peppers. I've tried to make Maryland crab cakes and I'm sure they aren't right. Frogger Lee sent me a tin of seasoning that had a recipe on it and I've seen them on Food Network from the same restaurant but mine just don't come out right. They fall apart. Bought blue crab meat recently and tried again. You don't see blue crab meat here but there it was but it was really fishy tasting and they fell apart. I'm doing something wrong.

I say it right Michael, but I grew up in Philadelphia.  I was told early on that it is "Silver Spring"  There is a horse radish with the same mame!  I prefer the one called "Atomic!"  It is a 4 alarm fire!

Hey LeeAnne:

Not much help on the crab cakes, but I sure can boil them up with Old Bay and Beer!!!  I'm just a good consumer when it comes to Crab cakes and there are a lot of places in the area that claim to have the best!

Jerry I didn't realize you were from Philly, what part?
