Congratulations, 46 is a good age to be a Grandpa,  you will have more energy to enjoy and keep up with him.  I was younger then that the first time, now I just had #5 a couple months ago.  Make sure to post pictures once he arrives.

Congratulations!  It's wonderful being a young grandparent, I was only 48.  You build bonds that will never be broken and you can teach them so much and still have energy left at the end of the day! (sometimes)  lol

We recently got back from visiting our grandson in Oregon for his 1st birthday.  What a joy it is being a grandpa!

What.. do you think 46 is too young to be a grandparent?  Actually that is about the normal age.... plus you'll be able to enjoy and play with them when you get them younger in life! :)

DD and her BF have been together for 6 yrs now and still aren't engaged, at their rate I'll be old (er) and gray (er) by the time I get my first grandchild!
