Yup, awesome news.

'cept it's still gonna be scary when you feel those flutters and extra beats.

I've been dealing with it now for more than 12 years...still ticking...
but still scares the sh___t outta me each time my heart goes off beat.
The pills didn't help me much, but loosing weight (65#s) and cutting WAYYYY back on sugars and starches did.
(this includes all alcoholic drinks)
My condition is called Mitral Valve Prolapse.
Now that I am a size 6, I rarely have PVCs or flutters.
Only when I pig out or have too much sweets. (around the holidays usually)

Joyce the upped dose seemed to work! Slept well! I potted lotus tubers today (Thanks Bunny!)
I do get pooped FAST! Will get them in the pond soon.
My wife had an adventure getting the higher dosage. They did not call to say they didn't have it! She was sent to 2 other CVS Pharnacies. Argued with one who said we just got it yeaterday, you can't have more! (insurance) My wife pointed out the dosage was different. This one seems to work.
It is called Rhythemol.
I think THINKING is part of the problem. It creates anxiety!
The Dr, said" I have no hardening of the arteries and no plaque." I knew a clean life couldn't hurt!

Congratulations on your progression.

My own atrial fibrillation (Feels like a covey of quail just took off in my chest) has been going on for ten years. My doctor says it upsets me more that any doctor (Of course, its not happening to them).
Did you say you were good for another 100 years? You are going to be 170+? I doubt it. Keep your will up to date and avoid banana peels. Right behind you at 69... One foot in the grave......The other one, I keep forgetting....

Just an expression Johns. I saw the Dr.today, all looks good. (EKG) When I left I noticed exertion was less annoying. I bet getting used to the pills lets your body adjust.
He asked about palpitations, I'm not even sure what that is. I do get a kind of exhilarated feeling from time to time. He said I can go to the gym too. I'm not ready though, not yet.
I do write down my questions, but never get them all answered.
I will get 3 lotus tubs into the pond today.

I do deserve credit for posting that photo I had no sleep for 30 hours! Looked really nasty!
Today is my best day. I am more relieved. The Doctors keep saying, "we will see", when I ask about the course this will take.
I have gig Friday. My 2nd time with these folks so they called me back, a good sign.
I get to play and older guy in Pajamas repairing fishing tackle, doing crossword puzzles and even cooking!
I am having a side effect of the pill I take. I won't mention it here. But I may corner the Metamucil market!

Yes Bullfrog she is a doll as well as an efficient Nurse.

I dropped my wireless mouse and it is dead. My point is I got very upset since I have a big garage sale Saturday and lots of mail, Also the Accountant is coming over for taxes etc.
I sure could feel the palpitations. As soon as I stole the regular mouse for an old computer. I settled down.

I am different. Id never have gotten that rattled!

Jerry, I am on Verapamil mainly for high blood pressure but it also regulates heartbeat which I have once in a while. The side effect is also somewhat binding. I just make sure I avoid cheese and bread products and lean more to fruits and vegetables so don't have much problem because of it.

I worked a photo shoot today, almost felt nothing!!!
A board that deals with these things, mostly anxiety had some good tips. One was sleeping on my right side. It may be coincidence but Viola!
The members who get this from anxiety seem to keep the "flutter" forever. It is NOT life threatening, but sure is annoying. Like Johns said, "A covey of quail in my chest." In my case it's a hamster on a wheel. Today is the first day that I have been OPTIMISTIC !

We are not alone , millions have it, but usually for other reasons.

I am much improved. I no longer am kept awake by my hear pounding!
Had several events to go to today. including a funeral. My legs sure got tired. Circulation I bet.
Digging holes (planting,) winds me. I trust this will pass too. Be nice if the %&$#% Dr. told me!

Jerry I'm so glad to hear things are going well. Ain't it funny how our bodies get out of shape a lot faster than it took to get them in shape.

I am realising how out of shape I got this past year and I get winded just going up to my barn to feed my horses. :'( Hugs to you!

Happy, it's not out of shape, really, sure It's been 4 weeks since the gym, but I never got winded easily. It all has to do with whatever it is I have, but it is way better.

awww karen thanks. I was exhausted and was well over 24 hours with NO sleep. But very happy to be going home.
Just for fun here is my head shot. one agency liked it enough (and resume) to see me. Now a follow up visit on the 16th. These guys are considered one of the best.
The photo is flattering as can be! Lots of people use great head shots and the Casting directors say, "Is that you?" not a good thing.

It is a great shot, but I fear they will not be happy when they see the real me. I don't look that good!

I sat next to a young actress at an audition, She said, "You wanna see my head shot?"
I said, "sure." 30 years ago, I'd have said "who is that"?
I have more sense now. She was a nice looking girl, but the photo was an incredible beauty!
