Ruthie those are from my Mother of thousands...I'll have a dozen or so to give away for postage probably in another month or so....they get quite tall-my mother plant is about 5' tall and it is constantly dropping babies everywhere....

any one wanting any of the Mother of thousands just PM me....I would be glad to send you a plant for postage....just don't blame me when it takes over every pot around....also it is tropical so it will have to be brought in and treated as a house plant thru the winter...

Great pictures , Lawanna ! What's the yellow plant with the white stripe down the middle ?
I love it.... o(:-)
Your koi are beautiful too ! Does the white catfish eat any of the baby fish ?
I need to get something to help keep my population down ....and I really like the white catfish !

Bonnie I believe it is a variegated Dracaena it was a walmart buy many years ago and the tag is long gone....the older growth is not that yellow...that in the pic is some new growth....

Yes the catfish do eat some babies but, not all....they mostly eat the koi food during feeding months...as long as I'm feeding they had rather eat fish pellets...they stay with the koi and eat with the koi....My channel cat stays at the bottom alot...this one doesn't he roams with the koi...I have really enjoyed having him....he shows up alot better than my channel cat does...Not sure if he is an albino channel or just what...I bought him from my nephew---who got him from a neighborhood kid that had it in a fish tank for a few years...All of us were surprised when it shot up in size.....I figured all that time in a fish tank would have stunted its growth....guess not...

It's nice to see flower blooms again! We finally had a nice sunny warm day here too, but I won't be jumping into our ponds yet either. There is still the possibility of snow in the forecast for next week. We are suppose to be long past that by now!
The lilies are just barely starting to send up pads. Normally flower buds are starting to show by now. Hope this means a nice summer is ahead.

Wow ... you must love wandering around in your greenhouse.  I've always wanted a big one.

I'm thinking about getting an albino channel catfish & it is great to see a pic of your catfish.

Oh Lawanna, thank you so much for the site of flowering plants, it will be at least a month before I even get to see a flower here.  Fish look soooooo happy, mine are slowly swimming in cold water yet and no where near that clear, lots of small floating algae, that fell off the string algae as I pulled it, will try to get a water change done today.
I'm in love with Asagi's, I have never found one around here yet, but am bound and determined to get one.

Just me----Oh....they are getting soo big and sooo pretty....the one in the first pic looks just like Fred...I'm seeing some orange in the dorsal fin....hope it keeps coming in...the ochiba looks like its keep up with them in size....I just love your butterflies....can't wait to bring mine home from your house...so which ones am I getting?

Kat- I love my cat's ....I've decided after we get the new pond done I don't want them in with Fred and Ginger any more....but, will try to all ways have my cat's in the other pond...they are soo tame I can pick them up once they are contained...they don't try to fin me....

Marla-I have loved the asagi every since the first time I saw them in a picture....

Lawanna,

All your pic's of your plants and fish are great!

In the second pic, is that like a trumpet vine??  Looks similar to one I had back home in South Dakota...

Don't have a good pic of it that isn't mixed in with my clematis on the trellis over the pond waterfall...

Sorry, I put the wrong number of picture I was talking about.  I know what the calla lily is, i've got one.  I was talking about the third picture.

Thanks,
