Sean - do a web search on the word Marokki and you'll see that there are several forums that were hacked by the same people.  This morning when I discovered that the forum was gone and the pictures were there, I did a search and there were about 30 forum sites that they'd hit all at the same time - sites from all over the world in many languages.  Over the course of the day as the sites have been fixed the list has gotten smaller.  Some of the moderators were speculating that they got in thru the software because most of the forums were using the same software - but I don't know if it was this software.

Yeah, they were rather gross.  I was reading the forum when it happened.  At first I thought I inadvertently hit a wrong button.  All I did was hit the next button to read the next entry and that site came up!   >:(

Yes, the photos were awlful.  Jerry emailed them to me.  The person or persons must be really sick to even put a pic of something like that anywhere.  I hope they catch them and it never happens to the forum again.  And what ever that photo was of,  I must add my heart goes out to the victims in the photo, how sad.   :'(

Jerry and Sean, I'm so sorry to hear what happened. You guys are trying so hard to give us a good playground and then some idiot does that. I suspect that this time it may not be the same person as the last. Who knows?

MikeW woke me up this morning at 0730 Pacific time and at that point the forum had only been down for about 10 or 20 minutes. I had only been asleep for three hours at that point (working graveyard shift). I was able to remove the offensive webpage they replaced with ours and start reloading the forum from a backup. It took me 5 hours to get the forum back up and operational. The only problem with the backup is I did not do a backup of the attachment directory in the last 2 weeks so photo's that were directly attached to the forum since Sept 12th are lost. People can re-upload their lost photo's by editing their own posts and just delete and re-attach the photo's. I know it is a bit of a pain in the arse but I never expected to be hacked again so went slack on downloading the attachments directory. I at least had a backup last night of the database so none of our membership or message information was lost.

Sorry for all the inconvenience folks but we will work through this.
